Access is a non-profit organization premised on the belief that the realization of human rights and democracy in the twenty-first century is increasingly predicated on access to the internet and other forms of information communication technology. More »
 
On Oct. 25 & 26, with the support of Google, Facebook, Yahoo!, Skype and Mozilla, Access is hosting the first major conference in Silicon Valley examining how the human rights and high-tech sectors can better manage emerging human rights implications of new technologies. Speakers include Andrew McLaughlin, Bram Cohen, Rebecca McKinnon, Robert Scoble, and many other experts from around the world.
